Privacy policy.
What we collect, why we collect it, and how to ask us to stop. Plain English, no buffer.
Last updated: May 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Sales4U (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit sales4ucards.com (the “Site”) or buy from us. Sales4U is operated by Abelardo Ramos as a sole proprietorship.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a password (stored as a one-way cryptographic hash — we never see your password in plain text).
- Order and checkout information. When you place an order, whether as a registered customer or a guest, we collect your shipping address, billing address, email address, and the items you order.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit, debit, or bank card numbers. Card details are submitted directly to the processor by your browser and we receive only a transaction reference. If you would like to know which processor we use so you can review their privacy notice, email us at privacy@sales4u.shop.
- Communications you send us. If you contact customer support, request a custom commission, or reply to one of our emails, we receive whatever you send.
- Marketing email opt-in. If you submit your email through our welcome offer popup or any signup form, we collect that email address and the source of the signup so we can send you the discount code and, on an opt-in basis, occasional updates about new releases (see §4).
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and connection data. Like most websites, our servers log basic technical information about visits, including approximate IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We use this for fraud prevention, rate limiting, and routine diagnostics. IP addresses are not retained beyond short rate-limit windows.
- Cookies and similar storage. We use a small number of essential cookies and browser storage items:
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in (HttpOnly, secure).
- Browser local storage that remembers your cart contents and whether you've dismissed certain on-site notices (for example, our welcome popup).
- We do not use third-party advertising cookies, behavioral retargeting cookies, or cross-site tracking pixels.
- Activity logging. Administrative actions by store staff are logged for security and audit purposes. Customer-facing activity is logged only to the extent needed to process orders and prevent abuse.
1.3 Information from third parties
- Shipping carriers. When you order from us, the carrier handling your package may provide tracking events back to us through our shipping-integration partner, including delivery scans associated with your tracking number.
- Payment processor. Our payment processor may share verification or risk-related signals with us when you check out.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Process and fulfill your orders (charge your payment method, create shipping labels, deliver your goods, and notify you of order status).
- Provide and maintain your account.
- Respond to customer support requests and custom commission inquiries.
- Send transactional emails — order confirmations, shipping notifications, delivery confirmations, password resets, account verification.
- Send marketing emails about new releases, restocks, or promotions, only if you have opted in (see §4).
- Prevent fraud and abuse (including by counting requests by IP address for rate limiting).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our applicable terms of service.
- Improve the Site and our products at an aggregate, non-identifying level.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information with a small set of service providers we need to run the store. We do not share your information for advertising, analytics, or any purpose beyond what is needed to fulfill your order and operate the Site.
| Who | What they do | What we share |
|---|---|---|
| Payment processor | Process your payment | Card details (collected directly by the processor), billing address, order amount. We never see your card number. |
| Shipping carrier | Deliver your order | Recipient name and shipping address |
| Platform operator | Operate the platform that runs the Site | Operational access to our database and infrastructure |
We also use vendors for general infrastructure — web hosting, image storage, shipping-label generation, and email delivery. These vendors hold data only as needed to provide those services and may not use it for any other purpose.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may also disclose personal information when required by law, in response to valid legal process, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sales4U, our customers, or others, or in connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of all or part of our business (in which case we will make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the recipient continues to honor this Policy).
4. Marketing Emails and Your Choices
You will only receive marketing emails from us if you have explicitly opted in — for example, by entering your email in our welcome offer popup, by signing up for a list, or by checking a marketing-opt-in box at checkout.
Every marketing email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from our list immediately. You can also unsubscribe by emailing privacy@sales4u.shopwith the subject “Unsubscribe.”
Transactional emails — order confirmations, shipping notifications, and other emails directly related to a purchase or account action — are not marketing and cannot be unsubscribed from while you have active orders or an active account.
5. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding personal information about you:
- Right to know / access. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, including the categories of information, sources, purposes, and recipients.
- Right to delete. Request that we delete personal information about you, subject to limited exceptions (for example, completed orders that we are required to retain for tax or fraud-prevention purposes).
- Right to correct. Ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to data portability. Receive a copy of certain personal information in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising; therefore there is nothing to opt out of, but you may submit a request anyway and we will confirm.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not treat you differently for exercising any privacy right.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect “sensitive personal information” as that term is defined in California law, beyond what is strictly necessary to process orders.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@sales4u.shop. We will verify your identity using information we already hold (such as the email address associated with your account) before fulfilling any request. We will respond within the time frames required by applicable law (generally 45 days under California law, with one 45-day extension if reasonably necessary).
You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require proof of the agent's authority and may still verify your identity directly.
California residents: This policy serves as your “Notice at Collection” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”). The categories of personal information we collect are listed in §1; the purposes are listed in §2. We retain personal information for the periods described in §7. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted by the CCPA without consent.
Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other state residents: You have rights substantially similar to those described above under the VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA, and UCPA, including the right to appeal a denial of a request. If we deny your request, you may appeal by emailing privacy@sales4u.shopwith the subject “Privacy Appeal.”
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use only the cookies and browser storage items strictly necessary to operate the Site:
| Item | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication cookie | Keeps you signed in | Session, or up to 30 days if “remember me” is selected |
| Cart storage (browser local storage) | Remembers items in your cart | Persists until cart is cleared or emptied |
| Welcome popup suppression (browser local storage) | Prevents the popup from re-appearing for 14 days after dismissal | 14 days |
| Splash dismissal (browser session storage) | Skips the intro splash on subsequent navigation | Session |
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party advertising or analytics cookies at this time. If we ever add them, we will update this Policy and, where required by law, present a consent banner.
We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals because no consistent standard for them has emerged. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as opt-outs of “sale” or “sharing” — although, as noted, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in any case.
7. How Long We Keep Information
- Account data is retained for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after closure for fraud-prevention and tax-record purposes (generally up to 7 years for transaction records).
- Order records are retained for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law (generally 7 years).
- Marketing email subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe; after unsubscribing, we retain a suppression record (your email only, with status “unsubscribed”) indefinitely so we do not accidentally email you again.
- Server logs and rate-limit records are retained only for short operational windows (typically hours to days).
8. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including HTTPS for all customer-facing traffic, cryptographic password hashing, restricted administrative access, and use of vetted third-party processors for payments and shipping.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at privacy@sales4u.shop.
Customers under the age of 18 must use the Site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
10. International Visitors
The Site is operated from and primarily directed to customers in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your personal information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country.
We do not currently ship outside the United States. If this changes, we will update this Policy to address any additional rights of customers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions.
11. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites (for example, social media profiles, payment provider terms, or carrier tracking pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their privacy notices before providing personal information.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page and, for significant changes, notify you by email (if you have an account or have opted in to marketing) or by a prominent notice on the Site before the change takes effect.
